About Me

Hi, I'm Sam!

Born and raised in Chard, and with a grandparent, parents, siblings and nephews all living in Somerset I am well at home in Somerset. Cooking in general, and baking in particular, has been my principal hobby since boyhood, and during a difficult last 12 months, producing tasty treats for family and friends has been a source of great joy for me, and I think for them too!

 

In the spirit of doing more of what you love, I’ve been encouraged to have a go at turning my passion for baking into a profession. The Traybakery is my first big step as I begin by offering large trays of my best cakes, bakes, and desserts to other local small business to sell on to their customers.

 

I’m confident that the breadth of my experience in running and working with small businesses, my long-honed skill in the kitchen, and my passion for great food and those who serve it makes me the ideal person to make the most of this exciting new adventure.
